LinkaNode is software, published by Martin Turcotte, 4119 rue Roy, Saint-Hubert (Quebec) J3Y 3T4, Canada, reachable through our contact form.
LinkaNode is not a hosting company and resells no infrastructure. The server you manage with LinkaNode is yours: you rent it directly from your provider (Hetzner, OVH, Vultr or another), you pay them directly, and LinkaNode takes no margin on it. That distinction is not a formality; it decides who is responsible for what throughout this document.
LinkaNode connects over SSH to the server you point it at, and lets you, from a web interface:
LinkaNode places no limit on the number of sites you host. The only real limit is the capacity of your own machine.
The subscription is €12 per month for the Founding offer, reserved for the first 100 accounts, and covers one server. It is charged monthly through PayPal until cancelled.
No VAT charged: seller established outside the European Union (Quebec, Canada). The amount shown is the total amount due.
Your server is not included and never appears on our invoices: you pay your provider directly, around €6 per month for an entry-level machine.
An invoice is made available in your account after each payment.
The subscription is monthly, with no minimum term. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in your account. Your access stays open until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing is charged after that.
30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. If you ask for a refund within 30 days of your first payment, it is granted without your having to justify it. Write to us through our contact form.
Cancelling your LinkaNode subscription affects neither your server, nor your sites, nor your backups: they belong to you and keep running. You lose access to the management panel, not your data.
LinkaNode undertakes to provide the software described in section 2 and to use its best efforts to keep it working correctly.
LinkaNode does not operate your server and therefore cannot guarantee its availability, its performance, or the integrity of the data on it. Those depend on your provider, on the load your sites generate, and on the software you install there.
No availability guarantee (SLA) is offered on the LinkaNode panel itself. Panel downtime interrupts neither your sites nor your scheduled backups: those run on your own server and continue even when LinkaNode is unreachable.
To the extent permitted by law, LinkaNode's liability towards you is capped at the amount you paid it during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Support is provided by email only, through our contact form, with a target response time of 24 business hours. There is no phone support, no on-call rota, and no intervention on your server.
If a payment fails, PayPal retries several times before suspending the subscription. Once those retries are exhausted, access to the paid actions in the panel is closed. Here too, your server and your backups are untouched.
LinkaNode may close an account used for unlawful activity, or to attack its systems or those of a third party.
The software evolves. Any material change to these terms or to the price is notified to you by email at least 30 days before it takes effect, and you are free to cancel in the meantime. The Founding price does not change for as long as your subscription stays active.
These terms are governed by the law in force in the province of Quebec, Canada. If you contract as a consumer, you keep the benefit of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence.
